Robert Burr, AAE Executive Director for the Glynn County Airport Commission has over 40 years of airport management experience including positions with Nashville International Airport and Tampa International Airport. He is a Real Property Administrator (RPA ) as well as a private pilot. He  He holds a bachelor’s degree in airport management, a master’s degree in aerospace education, both from Middle Tennessee State University and has been an adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for 20 years.  He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) from the American Association of Airport Executives and Past President of the Georgia Airports Association.
